Florida-Baylor to tip at noon

Times and television assignments for the SEC-Big 12 Challenge were set on Wednesday.

The Florida-Baylor matchup on Jan. 27 should get the full day of conference matchups off to an interesting start. The game will start at noon at Exactech Arena and air on ESPN.

Florida is 3-1 all time in SEC-Big 12 matchups, with wins over Kansas, West Virginia and Oklahoma. Last year, the Gators downed the Sooners 84-52 in Norman, Okla.

Baylor returns three starters from a team that reached the Sweet 16 last season, including standout guard Manu Lecomte. But the Bears lost last year’s leading scorer, forward Johnathan Motley, to the NBA Draft.
