The semifinals for the Legends classic were announced by the Gazelle Group on Tuesday.
In the marquee game of the weekend, Florida will play Michigan State on Friday night, Nov. 27, in Atlantic City, N.J.
The game will tip between 7:30-8 p.m., or 30 minutes after the end of the first semifinal matchup between Rutgers and UMass, which starts at 5:30 p.m.
On Saturday, the consolation game will start at 5:30 p.m., with the finals following 30 minutes after the end of the first game.
This was done to guarantee a Florida-Michigan State matchup. By playing the game on Friday night, it also will ensure a bigger TV audience than playing the game during a college football-heavy Saturday after Thanksgiving. Florida will host rival FSU that Saturday at the The Swamp.
