Florida (13-2) played a non-conference schedule that’s strength was 157th out of 343 Division I teams. Florida’s two losses were to Syracuse (17 RPI) and Florida State (28 RPI.)
Any chances for Florida to climb in the RPI could be hindered by playing in the Southeastern Conference. It hasn’t been a banner non-conference season for the SEC, which currently ranks seventh in Conference RPI. The Big Ten is currently first, followed by the ACC, Big East, Pac 10, Big 12 and Mountain West.
