Here’s what Florida coach Billy Donovan had to say following the Temple game about the dwindling playing time of freshman forward Adam Allen:
“It’s been hard on him playing two different positions,” Donovan said. “Jonathan Mitchell, I felt, really warranted an opportunity following what he he did against Ohio State. … Maybe as a coaching staff we need to do a better job of putting Adam in situations and finding ways to make him more comfortable.”
The 6-foot-7 Allen has had more turnovers (six) than points (five) since a career-high 19-point game Dec. 5 against Florida A&M. Allen, though, still leads Florida in 3-point shooting accuracy at 54.5 percent.
