The Wednesday morning session of the NBA predraft camp was uneventful for former Florida players Chris Richard and Taurean Green.

Both took part in morning drill sessions but didn’t play in the morning scrimmage. The 6-foot-8 Richard looks about 10 pounds lighter, the result of intense training in Las Vegas. Richard also showed a nice baseline jumper out to 15 feet he hit consistently when open.

Green worked out at the other end of the floor, where he handled the ball well and hit some shots. A better assessment will come later this afternoon when Green’s team faces Richard’s team in a 5 p.m. scrimmage.

The Milk House Gym at the Disney Hall of Fame complex was crawling with Hall of Famers turned executives, a list that included even new Charlotte Bobcats president Michael Jordan. Indiana Pacers president Larry Bird, New York Knicks Coach/GM Isiah Thomas and Golden State Warriors director of basketball operations Chris Mullin also were on hand. I’d choose those four in a pickup game at Gainesville Health and Fitness Club. Virginia Tech forward Coleman Collins led scorers in the morning scrimmage with 22 points. Other notable performances were from former Syracuse standout Demetris Nichols (18 points, 4 of 5 from 3-point range) and Purdue center Carl Landry (five points, eight rebounds, one assist, one steal).
