The Florida team hotel is a Marriott about a half-mile from the Georgia Dome. At 2:30 p.m., a gaggle of Florida fans already were lined up, waiting for autographs.
Several parents were in the lobby, including Tito Horford and Sindey Green. But players, preparing for tonight, were nowhere to be found.
Everywhere you look, people are selling tickets. One fellow sold a second-deck seat for $200 last night.
Florida coach Billy Donovan is scheduled to speak at a Marshall University scholarship dinner in Huntington, W. Va., Wednesday night. It’s unclear at this time if he will cancel that appearance if Florida wins tonight.
