So much for doomsday projections. Florida’s 85-72 thumping of Kentucky has the Gator Nation feeling better about basketball today. Pat Dooley and I will be heading to Atlanta mid-week to prepare for SEC Tournament coverage, which will include some exclusive on-line surprises. Hope you enjoy them as we toil away in the bowels of the Georgia Dome. I like Florida to win the tournament, but I liked Tennessee last season and the Vols flopped in the first round. Tennessee and Vanderbilt pose the biggest threat to a Florida three-peat. I don’t see Kentucky getting that far. Arkansas is my darkhorse because its big frontline and the emergence of freshman Patrick Beverley. What do you think? Send us a line.
