UF football injury update

Starting outside linebacker Kylan Johnson likely will miss Saturday’s game against Tennessee with a lingering hamstring injury.

“(He) will probably be out with that same leg that he’s kind of been hampered with,” UF coach Jim McElwain said Wednesday.

Starting tight end DeAndre Goolsby, who missed the Michigan game with an unspecified injury is expected to be available Saturday.

“(He) practiced yesterday and looked pretty good,” McElwain said. “I’d say he’s going to be ready to go.”

Freshman tight end Kemore Gamble is back after missing the opener with an injured foot.

“He practiced at the end of last week and then practiced yesterday, so he should be good to go,” McElwain said.
