
For the fourth consecutive season, the Florida men’s tennis team (21-3) has been selected as a host for the NCAA Championship first and second rounds.
The regular-season SEC Champions — who earned the No. 3 national seed — will host the event Friday-Saturday at the Alfred A. Ring Tennis Complex.
Florida State (18-10) plays UCF (15-10) at 9 a.m. Friday and fourth-ranked Florida will face Florida Gulf Coast (14-8) at 12 p.m. Friday’s winners will then face each other in the second round at 2 p.m. Saturday for the right to advance to the NCAA Round of 16.
Tickets may be purchased in advance or on each day of the tournament. An all-session pass is $8 for adults and $5 for senior citizens, college students and children under 17. Single-day tickets for Friday and Saturday are $5 for adults and $3 for senior citizens, college students and children under 17. Women: Florida (12-11) will take on Boston College (16-9) in first-round action from Lawrence, Kansas, at 11 a.m. ET Friday. The winner squares off with the winner of the Kansas-Denver match on Saturday.
