Tonight, Caeleb Dressel has his sights on gold No. 2.

The former Florida Gators swimmer from Green Cove Springs has one gold medal in his trophy case from the Tokyo Olympics, as part of the United States' winning 4-by-100-meter freestyle relay.

Dressel will be swimming tonight in the 100-meter freestyle, where he's the two-time defending world champion. His biggest competition tonight will likely be between Italian Thomas Ceccon, who had the lowest time in the semifinals; Russia's Kliment Kolesnikov, himself a medal winner with a silver in Wednesday's 100 backstroke, and the event's defending Olympic champion, Australia's Kyle Chalmers.

Also competing tonight is a current Florida Gator, Bobby Finke, in the finals of the 800-meter freestyle.

Finke was the No. 3 qualifier out of the heats, behind Serhii Frolov of Ukraine and Brazil's Guilherme Costa. However, Australia's Jack McLoughlin may be the odds-on favorite for gold.
