Caeleb Dressel is thriving inside the Budapest bubble.

The Clay High School graduate set two short-course world records Saturday on the next-to-last day of the International Swimming League in Hungary.

Dressel swam 47.78 in the 100-meter butterfly, the first swimmer ever to break 48 seconds, and won the 50 freestyle in 20.16 to break his own record.

He already holds numerous world championships in long-course events.

Dressel won a record eight medals at the 2019 world championships in South Korea and won seven golds at the 2017 championships, also in Budapest.
