Rookies reported Tuesday, veterans arrive July 27

There is plenty of anticipation for quarterback Trevor Lawrence and Meyer's first training camp with the franchise. Lawrence was the No. 1 overall pick after going 34-2 as a three-year starter at Clemson. Meyer never had a losing season in 17 seasons as a college coach that included winning two national championships at Florida and one at Ohio State.

Lawrence arrived for camp Tuesday, the rookies' scheduled reporting day. The veterans are scheduled to report this upcoming Tuesday. The Jaguars have their entire 2021 nine-player draft class signed. Running back Travis Etienne, second-round cornerback Tyson Campbell, and offensive tackle Walker Little were the final three to sign their rookie contracts Tuesday.

The Jaguars are coming off a 1-15 season that clinched the first time the franchise selected No. 1 overall in the draft.

Some of the top training camp battles to watch include kickers Josh Lambo and Aldrick Rosas, the backup quarterback battle between Gardner Minshew and C.J. Beathard, Etienne and returning 1,000-yard rusher James Robinson at running back, 2020 ninth overall pick CJ Henderson and Campbell at cornerback, and a free safety battle between returning veteran starter Jarrod Wilson and rookie Andre Cisco.
