Tua Tagovailoa chases down fumble return in Miami Dolphins game vs. LA Chargers

Miami Dolphins rookie quarterback Tua Tagovailoa showcased his tackling ability, and speed, in the first half Sunday against the Los Angeles Chargers.
With 10:28 remaining in the second quarter, the Chargers capitalized on a botched snap exchange between Tagovailoa and center Ted Karras, as Nick Vigil picked up the football and returned it 44 yards to the Dolphins' 37.
It likely would have been for a touchdown if Tagovailoa didn't hustle to chase down Vigil and wrestled him to the ground.
Fortunately for Tagovailoa and Dolphins fans, he wasn't hurt on the play. Tagovailoa's college career ended last year due to a hip injury against Mississippi State.
Unfortunately for Tagovailoa and Dolphins fans, the fumble ended a promising drive that had reached the Chargers' 9, and Los Angeles eventually turned the turnover into a touchdown.
But the Dolphins faithful now know Tagovailoa can play free safety in a pinch, if needed.
The reaction on social media was strong.
