John Fulkerson set the Tennessee basketball program record for games played Wednesday against Ole Miss.

Fulkerson, a sixth-year senior, has played in 143 games at UT. He passed Wayne Chism, who played in 142 games in his career from 2006-10.

Fulkerson had played in 133 entering the season. He would have set the record at Alabama on Dec. 29, but did not play after testing positive for COVID-19 following Christmas break.

Fulkerson returned to UT for a sixth season, taking advantage of the NCAA's ruling to grant extra year of eligibility due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
