Terrence Lewis, former Tennessee football commitment, pledges to Maryland
Lewis, a five-star inside linebacker from Miami Central, committed to Maryland on Saturday.
The 6-foot-1, 200-pound Lewis committed to Tennessee on April 30, launching Tennessee to the No. 3 class in the nation at the time, before decommitting on Nov. 30.
Tennessee signed 19 players during the December signing period, and its 2021 recruiting class is ranked 15th in the 247Sports Composite.
Lewis announced on Dec. 14 that Maryland and Tennessee were his top two schools, but he changed his finalists on Wednesday to Maryland and Miami.
He had hats for Maryland, Miami and Tennessee when he made his selection Saturday. He said on NBC that Miami was his runner-up.
Lewis is the nation's top-ranked inside linebacker in the 247Sports Composite and the No. 16 overall prospect.
