The LSU baseball team made the trip to face Ole Miss in a three-game Southeastern Conference series that opened Thursday, April 22. 

LSU defeated Ole Miss 5-4. 

Ole Miss, ranked No. 10 in the USA Today Baseball Coaches Poll, went to 27-11 overall and 9-7 in the SEC. LSU improved to 23-14 overall and 5-11 in the SEC.
