BATON ROUGE – LSU men's basketball plays its lone road game Wednesday night in a stretch with three of four at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.

No. 12 LSU (14-1, 2-1 Southeastern Conference) tips off against Florida (9-5, 0-2) at 6 p.m. CT (ESPN2) at the O’Connell Center in Gainesville.

The Tigers lost 83-79 to the Gators in Gainesville in the only matchup between the two teams last season.

LSU and coach Will Wade have won two straight, beating nationally ranked Tennessee 79-67 last Saturday after beating Kentucky 65-60 in its SEC home opener. Starting guard Xavier Pinson sprained his right knee late in the win over the Vols.

Florida has lost two straight, falling 85-73 at nationally ranked Auburn after opening SEC play with an 83-70 loss at nationally ranked Alabama.
