Xavier Pinson had to be helped off the court after suffering an injury late in the second half of the No. 21 Tigers' game against No. 18 Tennessee on Saturday.

Pinson, a senior who transferred to LSU from Missouri, was dribbling toward the basket when his left leg slipped. His right leg folded underneath him, and he fell to the court.

Pinson remained down on the court for several minutes while members of the LSU training staff tended to him. Two people helped him walk off the court and into the Tigers' locker room. He later returned to the Tigers bench but did not appear capable to reenter play.

LSU led Tennessee 71-63 with less than four minutes remaining in the second half when Pinson suffered his injury. The Tigers went on to win 79-67.
