LSU will host No.18 Florida at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 16.

The annual clash between these rivals will air on either ESPN or CBS. The network will be announced at a later date.

LSU beat Florida 37-34 last season at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in the now infamous “Shoe Game.” Florida defensive back Marco Wilson was called for a personal foul in the fourth quarter with the score tied after throwing LSU tight end Kole Taylor’s shoe across the field.

The penalty put Cade York in position to kick a 57-yard game-winning field goal into the fog at the Swamp.

Florida holds a 33-31-3 advantage in the all-time series, but LSU has won eight of the past 11 matchups. The Gators haven’t won in Tiger Stadium since 2016, a game that was relocated from Gainesville following Hurricane Mathew.

LSU (3-2, 1-1 SEC) is coming off a 24-19 home loss to No. 19 Auburn and plays at Kentucky this week. Florida (3-2, 1-2) lost 20-13 at Kentucky and hosts Vanderbilt this week.
