LSU cornerback Derek Stingley Jr. will not play for the second consecutive week.

Dwight McGlothern received the start in Stingley’s absence against Auburn. McGlothern also started last week at Mississippi State.

Stingley reaggravated a foot injury in practice last week. He saw a doctor on Wednesday.

In three games, Stingley has eight tackles and one forced fumble.

Cam Wire will start at left tackle. LSU has started four different players at the position this season.

For the first time in 2021, LSU has its projected starting offensive line from fall camp available — Wire, left guard Ed Ingram, center Liam Shanahan, right guard Chasen Hines and right tackle Austin Deculus.
