When and where is the LSU vs. Clemson national championship game?

NEW ORLEANS — The LSU Tigers football team will face the Clemson Tigers in the 2020 College Football Playoff championship game on Monday, Jan. 13.

The game is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. CT. Here's how to watch it on TV or live stream.

Both teams enter the game with an undefeated 14-0 record. LSU most recently beat the Oklahoma Sooners 63-28 in the first round of the playoffs. On the other side of the playoff bracket, Clemson advanced following a 29-23 win over Ohio State.

Where is the 2020 CFP championship game?

The LSU vs. Clemson championship game will be held at the Mercedez-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana. 

The national championship game rotates locations every year, and it is always held on a Monday night. The semifinal playoff games rotate annually around the "New Year's Six" bowl games: the Cotton Bowl, Fiesta Bowl, Orange Bowl, Peach Bowl, Rose Bowl Game and Sugar Bowl.

Next year's national championship game will be held in Miami, Florida. In the three years following, the game is planned to take place in Indianapolis, Los Angeles and Houston, respectively.
