Florida State basketball is keeping its momentum on the 2022 recruiting trail.

2022 four-star combo guard Chandler Jackson announced his commitment to the Seminoles Friday afternoon at a ceremony at his high school.

Jackson, who plays at Christian Brothers High in Memphis, Tenn., is the No. 116 overall prospect and No. 16 combo guard in the 2022 recruiting class.

The announced commitment comes just over a week after he took a visit to FSU last weekend for the UMass football game.

He picked the Seminoles over Tennessee, his other finalist, but also was considering Virginia Tech, Kansas and hometown Memphis.

Jackson is the fifth member of FSU's 2022 recruiting class, all of whom have committed in the last two months. He's the second-highest-rated 2022 commit behind four-star center Cameron Corhen, who ranks 84th nationally.

Considering two of FSU's first four commits are still unranked in the 247Sports composite rankings, the Seminoles' class was ranked 37th nationally and ninth in the ACC. With Jackson's addition, FSU's 2022 class ranks 16th nationally and is the fifth-best in the ACC.
