See Alabama center Landon Dickerson dressed for CFB Playoff Championship despite torn ACL

Alabama football center Landon Dickerson suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in the Southeastern Conference Championship vs. the Florida Gators. 

Dickerson did not dress and sat out the 2021 Rose Bowl vs. Notre Dame due to the injury.

Dickerson is not expected to play in the 2021 College Football Playoff Championship vs. Ohio State, but Dickerson is dressed in his uniform and pads.

About 20 minutes before Monday's kickoff, ESPN reported that Alabama offensive line coach Kyle Flood said Dickerson will not play vs. Ohio State.

Dickerson ended up playing the final minute of the fourth quarter as Alabama kneeled at the end of the game.

Alabama athletics tweeted at 6:29 p.m. on Monday, "Can't miss the chance to put on the uniform!"

Alabama football tweeted the same photo and said of Dickerson, "True leader!" 

Dickerson went out as the Alabama captain for the coin toss. Ohio State won the coin toss. 

Alabama defeated Ohio State 52-24.

Alabama went to 13-0 overall. Ohio State finished 7-1 overall. 

After Monday, Alabama leads the all-time series 4-1 against Ohio State.
