The Florida Gators, currently ranked No. 6 in the Amway College Poll, open their season Saturday with the Mississippi Rebels at noon at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium in Oxford, Miss.

Last season, the Gators finished 11-2 overall and 6-2 in the Southeastern Conference, finishing off their campaign with a 36-28 win over Virginia in the Orange Bowl. Meanwhile, the Rebels ended up 4-8 overall and 2-6 in the SEC.

Amid the coronavirus pandemic, the SEC opted to have a 10-game conference only season, including six games against division opponents and four against non-division opponents. The conference also has COVID-19 testing protocols in place.
