SAN ANTONIO — Interim coach Bob Stoops and Oklahoma closed out the 2021 football season with a 47-32 win over Oregon on Wednesday in the Alamo Bowl.

Here are some notable numbers from the game:

OU's defense records its fastest takeaway of the season

147: It took just 147 seconds for the OU defense to record a takeaway on Wednesday. Redshirt senior defensive back Justin Broiles intercepted a pass with 12:27 left in the first quarter, which marked the quickest takeaway by the Sooners' defense all season.

Gabe Brkic misses first career PAT

154: After entering the day 154-for-154 on career point-after attempts, Gabe Brkic missed his first PAT with 7:56 left in the opening quarter. The redshirt junior kicker finished the contest 5-for-6 on PATs and 2-for-2 on field goal attempts.

Mario Williams gets touchdown called off

51: A 51-yard touchdown reception by Mario Williams early in the second quarter was called back by officials. Williams had his helmet ripped off by Oregon's Avan Dickerson before running into the end zone. By rule, a player is not allowed to advance the ball once his helmet is removed. OU ultimately settled for a field goal on the drive.

Marvin Mims records longest punt return of the season

24: Marvin Mims broke free for a 24-yard punt return with 12:19 left in the second quarter. That marked the longest punt return of the season by an OU player, surpassing Mims' 18-yard return against Western Carolina on Sept. 11.

Michael Turk records highest single-season punting average in program history

51.17: Michael Turk recorded two punts on Wednesday for an average of 49.5 yards, which brought his season average to 51.17 yards per punt. This marks the highest average by an OU punter for a single season in program history. Tress Way held the previous record by averaging 45.7 yards per punt in 2009.

1: Had Turk finished this season with one more yard on his punts, he would've averaged 51.2 yards. This would've set the single-season record for the highest average in college football history. That honor goes to San Diego State's Matt Araiza, who averaged 51.19 yards per punt this season.

OU running back Kennedy Brooks (26) runs for a touchdown against Oregon during the first half of the Alamo Bowl on Wednesday.

Kennedy Brooks breaks OU bowl record for first-half rushing yards

127: Kennedy Brooks ran for 127 yards and two touchdowns on 10 carries in the first half. The redshirt junior running back set an OU bowl record for first-half rushing yards, dethroning Rodney Anderson's 125 rushing yards on 13 carries in the College Football Playoff semifinal game against Georgia in the Rose Bowl on Jan. 1, 2018.

3: Brooks finished the day with 142 rushing yards and three touchdowns on 14 carries. His three rushing touchdowns match a career-high for a single game after earning a hat trick against Oklahoma State on Nov. 10, 2018.

Oregon scores a touchdown on four straight drives

4: Oregon scored a touchdown on each of its first four drives in the second half. That marked the most consecutive touchdown-ending drives surrendered by OU's defense this season.
