Alabama football has added yet another home-and-home series down the road.

The Crimson Tide will face Boston College in 2031 and 2034, according to a team release.

Alabama will first travel to Chestnut Hill on Sept. 13, 2031. Then, the Eagles will come to Tuscaloosa on Sept. 16, 2034.

The two teams haven't faced each other since games in 1983 and 1984. Boston College holds a 3-1 edge all-time against Alabama.

"The numerous home-and-home matchups that have been scheduled in recent years are going to make for some great football games for our program and our fan base," Alabama coach Nick Saban said in a school release. "We are excited to add a trip to Chestnut Hill for the 2031 season and look forward to the challenge that awaits us with the Boston College series."

The announcement of the latest home-and-home series comes the day after a similar series was scheduled against Oklahoma State, set for 2028 and 2029. That pushed back another previously scheduled home-and-home series against Notre Dame to 2029 and 2030.

"Our future schedules continue to fill out nicely with quality home-and-home series, many of which present us with opportunities to play opponents and go places we haven't been to in a while or ever," Alabama AD Greg Byrne. "The 2031 matchup in Chestnut Hill will be a great trip for our team and our fans, and we look forward to hosting the Eagles here in Tuscaloosa in 2034."

Chestnut Hill resides about 30 minutes from Foxborough, the home of the New England Patriots. Saban's good friend, coach Bill Belichick, has added several former Alabama football players to his roster over the years, with two more in the draft this past spring. Right now, the Patriots have Mac Jones, Christian Barmore, Damien Harris, Dont'a Hightower and Anfernee Jennings.

The additions of these new home-and-home opponents come shortly after Alabama announced an extension for Saban that will run through the 2028 season and end on February 29, 2029.
