Alabama receiver DeVonta Smith named University of Georgia founder ... on Wikipedia
Against the Georgia Bulldogs football team on Saturday, Alabama Crimson Tide receiver DeVonta Smith caught 11 passes for 167 yards and two touchdowns.
Smith caught his first touchdown pass with 3:06 left in the second quarter to tie the game 17-7. He caught his second touchdown with 9:32 left in the fourth quarter for a 41-24 Alabama lead, and that ended up being Saturday's final score.
It's not Smith's first big game against the UGA Bulldogs.
In the 2018 College Football Playoff National Championship, Smith caught the game-winning touchdown in overtime to give Alabama a 26-23 win against Georgia.
So, someone decided to give Smith a new title.
The University of Georgia's Wikipedia page was changed to display DeVonta Smith as the university found, according to the Twitter account @notkdk3.
The actual founder of the University of Georgia is Abraham Baldwin, according to the university website.
After Saturday, Alabama leads the all-time series 41-25-4 against UGA.
