Game recap: Florida Gators baseball beats Oklahoma, will play Sooners again on Monday
Florida survived to fight later on Sunday. And now, they're going to Monday where they'll face the Oklahoma Sooners, again.
The Gators (40-23) edged Central Michigan 6-5 on Sunday afternoon, and then took down Oklahoma 7-2 in the Gainesville regional final at Condron Ballpark.
In the first game Wyatt Langford scored a ninth-inning run on Ty Evans' sacrifice fly for Florida's go-ahead run, and Ryan Slater shut the door on the Chippewas with the bases loaded in the bottom of the inning.
Against Oklahoma, Jed Fabian's two home runs led the way.

After a loss to Tennessee in the SEC tournament final, Florida baseball is happy to be hosting the Gainesville regional on the home field where they've won over 20 games this season.
The Gators kicked off their postseason with a win 7-3 win over Central Michigan Friday night, moving on to play the Big 12 tournament champion Oklahoma Sooners on Saturday night. They lost that game, 9-4, setting up a Sunday afternoon rematch with the Chippewas, who beat Liberty Saturday afternoon to stay alive.
The regional tournaments are double-elimination. The winner moves on to the super regionals.
