Iona coach Rick Pitino paid homage to Florida Gators coach Billy Donovan, standing on the court named for him, before Wednesday night's NIT game at Exactech Arena in Gainesville.

Donovan, who played for and coached for Pitino, coached 19 seasons at Florida (1996-2015), compiled a record of 467-186, with six Southeastern Conference regular-season championships, four league tournament titles, 14 NCAA Tournaments appearances, four Final Fours and won back-to-back national championships.
