Rick Pitino tweets from Billy Donovan Court. Gators fans ask if he wants Florida coaching job
Donovan, who played for and coached for Pitino, coached 19 seasons at Florida (1996-2015), compiled a record of 467-186, with six Southeastern Conference regular-season championships, four league tournament titles, 14 NCAA Tournaments appearances, four Final Fours and won back-to-back national championships.
But the Gator Nation wasn't talking about Donovan. They were making their pleas to Pitino in light of UF's sudden search for a new men's basketball coach. Mike White announced Sunday he was taking the head coaching job at SEC rival Georgia.
Here are some of the responses.
