It doesn’t take long for perception to change. When you looked at
Florida’s SEC schedule before the season, you thought one thing. Two
weeks into the season, you think another.
That’s what college football is ” an ever-changing
landscape. Since Tennessee and LSU didn’t play this week, we’ll skip

Now: Jevan Snead is the real deal. He was throwing lasers against Wake Forest. But Ole Miss can’t play defense.
Before: Bobby Petrino has a way of making the passing game work and Houston Nutt didn’t leave the the cupboard that bare.
Now: A trip to Fayetteville doesn’t look so bad. The Hogs have come close to a pair of embarrassing upsets.
Before: The Wildcats will take a step back this year and not make a bowl game.
Now: That defense is as good as Rich Brooks said it would be and he seems to have found a quarterback in Randall Cobb.
Before: One of the most talented and hyped teams in the country. Let’s see how they handle a difficult schedule.

Before: Good coach, mediocre talent. Vandy has a way of losing the close ones.
Now: Maybe the Commodores have shaken off the losing mentality. Nashville has become a little more dangerous.
Before: This might be the year Steve Spurrier gets it done. He has a great defense and three quarterbacks.
Now: The culture of losing remains in Columbia. Turns out Spurrier has no quarterbacks.
