I’m watching practice at the New Orleans Arena, but mostly I’m watching Al Horford.
After suffering another ankle tweak against Arkansas on Sunday, Horford is one of the big questions for the Gators.
But I can tell you that he looks fine out on the court right now. He’s moving well and doesn’t seem to have any ill effects from the injury. Horford told me before practice that his ankle is coming along and he’s cleared to play.
One other thing about watching the Gators practice that I noticed during warmups before the LSU game ” walk-on Jack Barry has a great stroke. I’d love to see him get some playing time Friday night. He can really shoot.
