Former UF standout Bader optioned back to Triple A

The St. Louis Cardinals sent former Florida standout Harrison Bader back to Class AAA Memphis on Tuesday when they activated outfielder Stephen Piscotty from the disabled list.
Bader,23, batted .286 for the Cardinals with six hits in 21 at-bats in six starts in center field.
“Obviously, it was a short look,” John Mozeliak, president of baseball operations, told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. “We got to see him play in spring training and, clearly, he’s had a very successful year in Triple-A, so I would say all of us feel he’s made a very positive impression.”
