San Francisco Giants — Placed pitcher Shaun Anderson on the IL because of a blister on his right middle finger.

San Francisco 49ers — Wide receiver Chris Thompson was waived Thursday in a corresponding roster move when the 49ers signed a defensive lineman. Thompson had been with the team for less than a week.
