Gators vs. Tide at SEC tourney

COLUMBIA, Missouri – Top seed Florida will play eight seed Alabama in the quarterfinals of the SEC softball tournament at 7:30 p.m. Thursday. The SEC Network will air the game as will radio stations 92.1-FM/1230-AM and 100.1-FM/900-AM.

The Tide (34-17) advanced after a 6-4 win over Auburn in the first round Wednesday.

Florida (47-8), the regular-season champion, won the series against Alabama in Tuscaloosa in early April, 2-1.

Thursday night’s winner will play the winner of LSU-Tennessee in the tourney semifinals at 5:30 p.m. Friday. The championship game is set for 8 p.m. Saturday.
