Of the 59 University of Florida student-athletes graduating this weekend, 28 of them were part of national and/or conference championship teams during their Gator careers and 41 earned Academic All-Southeastern Conference honors.
Nine were part of NCAA title teams during their careers:
2015 NCAA Softball – Kayli Kvistad
2017 NCAA Baseball – Nick Horvath, JJ Schwarz
2016, 2017 (outdoor) and 2018 (indoor) Track & Field – Damien Daniels, Jack Beitter, William Decker
2016 & 2017 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field – Yanick Hart, Mac Macoy, Andres Arroyo Dominicci, TJ Holmes
More Spring Gator Grad Notables:
* Rhamat Alhassan was the 2017 Honda Award and Southeastern Conference Athlete of the Year for volleyball.
* Andres Arroyo reached the 2016 Olympics 800-meter run semifinals representing Puerto Rico.
* Josie Kuhlman was first Gator tennis player to receive NCAA Elite 90 Award (given to student-athlete with top grade point average at each of the 90 NCAA Championship sites). She picked up SEC Scholar-Athlete of Year honors for tennis in April.
* Nick Maronde completed his degree after a six-year professional baseball career (including three years in the Major Leagues)
* Two Gator football players receive their advanced degrees later this month – Chris Guido graduates from UF College of Medicine and Frankie Velez graduates from UF College of Law.
* Two graduate from UF College of Pharmacy – softball’s Kelsey Horton and football’s Brad Phillips.

o Cum Laude: Anna Danilina, Asa Garcia , Dalton Goss, Kat Hamer, Josie Kuhlman, Kayli Kvistad, Mac Macoy, Lauren Perry, Peggy Porter, Megan Reed, Alyssa Yambor-Maul
* Four receive master’s degrees this weekend – Luke Del Rio (football), Jordan Sherit (football), Colin Rockwell (men’s swimming), and Avione Allgood (women’s track & field).
* Three graduates will compete for UF in the 2018-19 season – Funda Nakkasoglu (women’s basketball) and Sarah Troccoli (soccer), Nick Buchanan (football).
