UF hosts Washington St. in NCAA soccer tourney

Florida and Washington State meet at 2 p.m. today at Dizney Stadium with a quarterfinal berth on the line in the NCAA Soccer Tournament.

This is the first meeting between UF (16-6) and WSU (11-7-3).

Sunday across the nation at eight sites, the teams are looking to advance to NCAA Quarterfinal action, set for Nov. 24 or 25 on four campus sites. The Women’s College Cup is set for Dec. 1 & 3 at the Orlando City Stadium.

Tickets are $7 for adults and $3 for children (12 and under), students and senior citizens. The first 200 UF student showing at Gator1 card are admitted free.

Florida and Washington State have played three common opponents in 2017 — Stanford (UF 3-2 win, WSU 2-1 loss), Washington (UF 1-0 loss, WSU 0-0 2OT) and Tennessee (UF 2-1 win, WSU 2-2 2OT).
