Just another second round loss that is a Becky trademark. Scoring the winning goal against yourself is a new twist.
Too much talent to constantly underperform in SEC tournament and NCAA.Becky is obsessed with possession which leads to numerous turnovers near our goal. And one of our best players(Monteagu ?) hardly plays anymore and did not see the field last night. She was one of the top scorers last year.Maybe has a personality conflict with the coach
For those of us who do not live and breath what your talking about, WHAT SPORT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?
Oops, sorry RJW, we thought you were following along this week. When it comes to goals and SEC tournament at this time of the year, the sport can only be soccer.
Kudos to the writer for not naming the girl who scored an own goal. She was totally distraught as it happened. That said, our defense has been shaky all year, so only appropriate that two defensive errors cost us the game. I expect the NCAA tourney will end the same after a couple of wins. Team is talented but way too conservative. Doesn’t help when one best player is with her national team and the other has one leg.
