It’s hard to fathom that Muschamp built the D and not much else. Mac soft pedalled the O and QB development but did wonders for facility enhancements. Friendships aside, his loyalty to Nuss really cost him as much or more than his alleged death threats. His arrogance and pride toward his AD and possibly SOS by refusing his help did wonders also.
New guy has to be better if by nothing more than being a good communicator and leader and who knows football and it’s three phases. Recruiting and Player Development, Game Plans and game Adjustments and exciting the fan base are equally critical. This might be too logical, but nothing since ’08 has worked.
