This is my 3rd of 4th “fresh” start on the Gatorsports forums. It’s a little better than any of them so far…
Agreed Robbie, except there’s no doubt in my mind that Del Rio starts. He’s the best QB for this opening game.
Love to see Williams come to Florida and have “Emmitt” chanted in the Odome.
Some of these new posters and handlers are a might suspicious.

Thanks for the effort to make improvements.
Any chance our past post count and/or status carries over from the old system?
Gators win 24-17 with Del Rio starting and at least one other QB playing. Zaire gives us another entire offense and Franks mixes the two.
To be successful this season, the strength of this team has to be offense and special teams. Special teams looks to be in great shape.
On offense, it can only get better from recent seasons. From the first series, I’ll look for execution and consistency from the line. It’s not rocket science. Run the ball. Throw it around the yard. It all starts up front.
With so much focus on the starting QB, don’t overlook the other fundamental aspects of the offense that must improve this season.
Do we have a discipline problem at Florida? What’s your take?
As long as it keeps UM guessing it is an advantage not to name a starter.
They used to put tweeters and woofers together. Is it the woofers that are missing?
I don’t like the series approach either. The coaches know best. Go with the hot hand.
Any of the three can lead the offense and be successful. It would be an advantage to have all of those diverse skill sets available to game plan. If the score and other factors allow, we should play two QBs in the UM game. It will keep future opponents guessing and provide some game minutes to backups.
The season hasn’t started and people are worrying over the QB situation. Relax. We have three very good players available. I for one look forward to seeing how it gets worked out.
