SANDESTIN — The landscape for Southeastern Conference men’s basketball may soon have a new look.
The league is looking into the possibility of doing away with divisions like it’s done with the women’s game. Or keep the divisions and seed the postseason tournament Nos. 1-12, SEC commissioner Mike Slive said Tuesday during a break in the annual spring meetings.
The reason: the disparity between the Eastern and Western divisions. The East owned the West last season, 24-2.
