According to NFL.com, former Florida quarterback Tim Tebow had a workout with the Denver Broncos on Monday.
Attending the workout were Broncos head coach Josh McDaniels and general manager Brian Xanders. Interest in Tebow seems to have picked up over the last several weeks, and there is some speculation that Tebow could ended up being taken in the first round of the draft on Thursday night.
Tebow also has recently worked out for the Redskins, Bills, Seahawks, Patriots, Browns and Vikings. There is some talk that the Vikings might take Tebow with the 30th pick in the first round.
As for where Tebow will be for the draft, there’s still nothing official. He has an invitation from the NFL to be in New York, but that invitation has neither been accepted nor turned down yet. The NFL also is waiting to hear from Texas quarterback Colt McCoy. On Monday, Notre Dame quarterback Jimmy Clausen turned down his invite.
