Pridemore in the house

Buford, Ga., linebacker/fullback T.J. Pridemore’s commitment to the
Gators will become official with his formal announcement on Wednesday.
Pridemore told on Sunday that he committed to the UF coaches
during his weekend visit to Gainesville. After the news hit the
Internet, Pridemore said he was going to hold off making it official
until Wednesday.

His commitment to the Gators is as firm as it gets.

With Pridemore now heading to Gainesville, one of the UF coaches’ next
goal is to convince his Buford teammate and friend, All-America
defensive tackle Omar Hunter, to join him at Florida.

backed out of a commitment to Notre Dame weeks ago and has appeared to
be a Florida lock for the past month. Hunter is visiting UF this
weekend and there’s a chance he’ll make a commitment to the Gators
before it’s over. If he doesn’t, look out for Georgia, his childhood
favorite. The ‘Dogs have moved in late on Hunter and have lined him up
for a visit to Athens next weekend.

McCray picks UF over FSU

Dunnellon outside linebacker Lerentee McCray made his announcement Wednesday in Orlando. The former Miami commitment picked Florida over Florida State.

McCray returned from a weekend visit to Tallahassee raving about Bobby Bowden and the Seminoles and said FSU is his leader earlier this week. Based on that information, many were predicting a pledge to Florida State. But he has also become close friends with UF commitment Jeff Demps, which may have contributed to his choice to go Gator.
