Football is back in The Swamp.

Florida’s spring game, the Orange and Blue Debut Game, will commence at 7:30 p.m. and the event will be televised on SEC Network.

How will Feleipe Franks respond after his performance in last spring’s game? Is the quarterback competition, if there even is one anymore, remotely close?

While these questions will (possibly) be answered, the game is another opportunity for the coaching staff to give recruits an idea of what it’s like to play in Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.

C.J. Smith (West Palm Beach), Jalynn Williams (St. Petersburg) and Divaad Wilson (Miami, Fl.) have each verbally committed to Florida’s 2018 class, and the trio is expected to arrive on Florida’s campus Friday.

Although he’s expect to arrive in Gainesville later today for the spring game, 2019 DB Tyrique Stevenson couldn’t wait to commit to Florida today.

Five-star DB Tyreke Johnson out of Trinity International (Jacksonville) took a visit to Florida last month, and he’ll take another one today. Although he’s been on campus for just two months, Gators defensive backs coach Corey Bell has quickly made Johnson a high-profile target at safety.

Dr. Phillips High offensive tackle John Campbell picked up a scholarship offer from Florida recently, and he’s expected to take another visit to Gainesville today to take in the game. He’ll be joined by fellow Orlando prospect Sevyn Banks out of Jones High, and the belief is each has the Gators high on their list.

Four-star DB Isaiah Bolden out of Wesley Chapel (Zephyrhills, Fl.) is verbally committed to Florida State, but he’ll be in Gainesville today for UF’s spring game.

After recording the fastest 100m time in March last weekend, wide receiver Anthony Schwartz out of American Heritage is expected back in Gainesville today for the game. He’ll then take in Auburn’s spring game on Saturday.

Dominick Watt, the No. 42 wide receiver in the 2018 class by Rivals, also announced he will attend the spring game, giving UF a chance to impress the rising four-star prospect.

IMG Academy OT Reuben Unije has been on UF’s radar for several years, and the four-star Unije will take another trip to Gainesville today.
