The 6-foot-4, 305-pounder took an official visit to Florida on Jan. 20, giving coach Jim McElwain and his staff an opportunity to leave a lasting impression.
With more than 25 scholarship offers, Conliffe had narrowed his decision to the Gators and Tennessee. According to 247Sports, Conliffe is the No. 19 defensive tackle prospect in the 2017 class.
“I want to thank my family and friends and my community for supporting me,” Conliffe said before his commitment.
