With the final weekend before National Signing Day in sight, Florida’s coaching staff has been on the road visiting prospects in the 2017 class.

Coach Jim McElwain and defensive line coach Chris Rumph are in Madison, Alabama for an in-home visit with four-star defensive end LaBryan Ray.

The 6-foot-4, 260-pound prospect will announce his decision Wednesday and the Gators remain in the running for his signature.

Gators running backs coach Tim Skipper is in Tampa visiting four-star running back Malik Davis.

Davis, who took an official visit to UF last weekend, received a rankings bump by 247Sports earlier in the week.

Skipper will then head to see Clearwater running back Adarius Lemons, who the Gators have continued to recruit despite his decommitment in August. Lemons re-enrolled at Clearwater for the Spring semester and UF’s coaching staff remains confident he will qualify for UF enrollment.

Gators quality control assistant Mark DeBastiani saw wide receiver Jacob Copeland, a Pensacola product in the 2018 class. Copeland was in Gainesville last weekend for a Junior Day visit.
