“Florida is still in it,” Blades wrote. “(It’s) coming down to Signing Day.”
Blades, the No. 16 ranked defensive back in the 2017 class by 247Sports, later announced his collegiate decision is down to Florida, Georgia, Nebraska, Oregon and Southern California.
While the Gators seem poised for a strong finish on Feb. 1, Florida has just 14 commitments in the 2017 class.
