Florida’s 2017 class lost the state’s No. 5 defensive tackle Tuesday.

Jordon Scott, a 6-foot-1, 355 prospect out of Pinellas Park High in Largo, announced he was leaving the 2017 class.

Scott committed to the Gators in May, but has struggled with weight issues throughout his senior season.

With offers from the likes of Florida State, Ole Miss and Tennessee, the three-star tackle has no shortage of suitors.

Following Scott’s decommitment, the Gators have 15 commits in the 2017 class.
