Florida’s 2017 class lost its lone running back Tuesday night.
Adarius Lemons (Clearwater) announced his decommitment on his Twitter account, saying “I’m sorry University of Florida for the disruption when I get right hopefully they still want me in the end.”

It’s not the first time Lemons has announced a decommitment from the Gators.
After he flipped his verbal commitment from the University of North Carolina to Florida on July 24, Lemons tweeted an apparent decommitment on Aug. 23.
But according to Rivals’ Blake Alderman, he never told the staff of his decision and was still committed to the Gators.
A four-star prospect, Lemons is ranked the No. 28 overall prospect in the 2017 class from the state of Florida.
In other backfield news, the Gators are in the running to land three-star running back Malik Davis. The Jesuit High prospect is announcing his verbal commitment Wednesday at 8 a.m.
I will be announcing my commitment tomorrow morning at Jesuit after convocation‼️
