With each game comes another opportunity for the Gators to display a program on the rise.

Florida is looking to continue its streak of undefeated games in September under second-year coach Jim McElwain, as the University of North Texas comes to Gainesville.

Along with the Mean Green’s arrival, the Gators are anticipating the presence of multiple highly recruited prospects on Saturday.

UF quarterback commit Jake Allen is making the trip from Ft. Lauderdale, his second chance to see the Gators in action this season.

Tampa Tech wide receiver Daquon Green and Miami Southridge cornerback Shawn Davis expect to make the trip up to Gainesville on Saturday. The pair of 2017 Gators commits will be joined by UF’s 2019 commits, Jaleel McRae and Jaquaze Sorrells.

This would be the third game each sophomore has seen this season.

Also making his third visit this season to Gainesville is 2018 four-star Armwood wide receiver Warren Thompson. The 6-foot-4 Seffner native has had the Gators, Miami and Florida State at the top of his list throughout his recruitment.

And after taking in Florida’s 45-7 win over Kentucky, 2017 Miami commit C.J. Hendreson is expected back in Gainesville on Saturday.
