Florida has been aggressively recruiting four-star American Heritage tight end Nick Eubanks – Gators coaches even attended his basketball game last week – throughout his recruitment.
And with an official visit scheduled for this weekend, it looked as if UF could possibly get a commitment from Eubanks.
But Eubanks never made it to Gainesville for his official visit, according to Josh Newberg of 247Sports.com.
TE Nick Eubanks did not make UF visit… I might have to change my Crystal Ball pick on him https://t.co/FoeBxwRdjj

Yet that doesn’t mean the Gators don’t remain high on Eubanks’ list.
Zach Abolverdi of SEC Country reported he spoke to one of his coaches at American Heritage and learned Eubanks was unable to make it to Gainesville because he was sick.
The 6-foot-6, 230-pound tight end, rated a four-star prospect and the No. 9 tight end in the nation by Rivals, initially planned on visiting with his American Heritage teammate, four-star defensive end Brian Burns. The latter did make his official visit to Florida.
